IndependentBelow are a select number of sites we would like to showcase. Some of the sites presented do not necessarily reflect our influence in designing the entire site as a whole -- in other words, we only contributed certain elements (e.g., logo, banner adverts, buttons/icons, etc.) and did not develop the entire website, as specified. All sites presented are shown in no particular order.
The logo was a labour of love and reflects the varying games which the organisation caters. Logo dimensions are 990 pixels by 115 pixels. It can be viewed on its own here.
The logo was submitted as part of a site-launching contest. It was selected out of a dozen or so other concepts and currently used on the website, randomly rotated along with 6 other entries. Logo dimensions are 750 pixels by 175 pixels. It can be viewed on its own here.
Site is powered by SimpleMachinesForum and a template was created. The message board's banner was also designed. Barry's World is an online community created by four friends based in New York state. The main site, AwesomeCrew.com maintains a perpetual "coming soon" splash designed with a "Monty Python" flair.
Site is powered by Lifetype (formerly called pLog) online journal system. HTML/CSS template designed. One of features are browser compatible transparent background. Variable width site using external commenting engine (HaloScan).
Just for FunBelow are some "fun" sites that do not necessarily have a purpose but were designed and created anyway. They are "just there" and have a parody feel to them.
A tongue-in-cheek site for the fictional "Free Annelle Fund" organisation. One of the "benefits" for donating are receiving a bumper sticker for the blind and colour-blind. You will most likely not get it unless you are familiar with the person to be "freed". The site logged a record 15 unique hits upon launch.
Another tongue-in-cheek site but with more content and a better layout. Music created are real (and free under the Creative Commons licence). Musicians/Singers/Artists did not receive compensation for posting their original parody song and lyrics. The site will soon evolve to include additional artists along with future, non-Counter-Strike related songs.
